The Cranberries - Zombie

Another head hangs lowly, child is slowly taken
And the violence caused such silence
Who are we mistaken

But you see it's not me, it's not my family
In your head, in your head, they are fighting
With their tanks, and their bombs
And their bombs, and their guns
In your head, in your head they are cryin'
In your head, in your head, Zombie, Zombie
In your head, what's in your head Zombie

Another mother's breaking heart is taking over
When the violence causes silence
We must be mistaken
It's the same old theme since 1916
In your head, in your head they're still fightin'
With their tanks, and their bombs
And their bombs, and their guns
In your head, in your head they are dyin'

In your head, in your head, Zombie, Zombie
In your head, what's in your head Zombie

Words & music by Dolores O'Riordan

El bombazo de The Cranberries, allá por el año 1994. Escrita después de un atentado en Warrington, durante la gira del grupo por Inglatera, en 1993. Primer single del No Need To Argue, que también incluiría I Can't Be With You, No Need To Argue y Ridiculous Thoughts.

Hoy desde Irlanda, en el noveno aniversario de la primera vez que les vi en directo, en la mejor hora y media que recuerdo.

The big boom by The Cranberries, many years ago, in 1994. Written after a terrorist attack in Warrington, during the band's English tour, in 1993. First single from the No Need To Arguealbum, which would also include the singles I Can't Be With You, No Need To Argue and Ridiculous Thoughts.

9 years ago, today, I saw The Cranberries live for the very first time, in the best gig I've ever been to.
